Following the "Protect Them Symposium" in Miramar Florida, author Colleen Wint presented a copy of CELEBRATING ME to Lavern Deer, President of the Jamaica International Female Football Development (JIFFD). Colleen was part of a panel of discussants focusing on the prevention and awareness of child sexual abuse.

A copy of CELEBRATING ME  was made to the Soroptomist International of Barbados (SIB) for their New Horizon project at the Government Industrial School for Girls. Author, Colleen WInt, made the presentation to Marguerite Woodstock-Riley, SIB member and past president of Soroptomist international of Great Britain. The SIB have provided the school with a resource center, books and other resources for the girls, ages 12-18 who are sentenced by the cour

Self-published authors, (L-R) Colleen Wint, Audrey Pottinger and Pauline Milbourn participated in a discussion on family issues highlighted in their respective books, "Celebrating Me" and "Caught in the Middle” on June 11 at Bookophilia. The discussion ranged from ways families communicate with children on some challenging issues such as puberty, separation and divorce. Both books are considered useful family development literature, especially due to the Caribbean focus and context
